The second outcome for this project was a series of soaps. The shapes carved were based on images generated from collages that explored this idea of reform. These were made in an effort to recontextualise the image of the prisoner within the domestic space to promote rehabilitation. The choice to carve the images into soap was a reference to the creative projects that prisoners often undertake when inside prison and an underlining of the importance of creative endeavors for rehabilitation and reformation.
